Come join Pack 846 as we watch the Gwinnett Gladiators take on the Kalamazoo Wings.   It is scheduled for Sunday, February 12, at 4:05 pm at the Arena at Gwinnett.   parking is free.

This holiday season, we're asking each family to bring a new unwrapped toy to the December Pack Meeting. The toys we collect will be donated to the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation.

Just one more week to go before our boys get their holiday break! It's hard to imagine that the school year is half finished. Sam, Laurie, Joshua, and I will be taking the holiday break to visit loved ones, enjoy each other's company, and just do some relaxing. I hope you'll get the chance to take some down time and recharge your batteries. This time of year can be extremely hectic and stressful as we try to wrap up all of our to-do's, errands, and shopping before the holidays and the New Year.

It's really easy to forget that this time of year is meant for peace on earth, goodwill towards men. As we recite the Law of the Pack, we remind ourselves that the Cub Scout gives goodwill.  Goodwill can simply be defined as an attitude of kindness or friendliness.

I hope all of you are doing well! Can you believe that we're already at the mid-point for November??? It  just seems like the school year started last week! Week after next, our boys will be on Thanksgiving vacation and then it's the mad dash to the end of the year for holiday season.

I'm sure, if you're like me, it was easy to get caught up in the daily grind of the week and I didn't think about Friday being Veteran's Day. I was attending the Georgia Tech - Virginia Tech football game on Thursday night and they introduced a number of former Georgia Tech athletes who were also veterans. It was a humbling reminder for me about Veteran's Day, but also how much I have to be thankful for as an American and the men and women who have made sacrifices on my behalf...
